It has been my observation that most people get ahead on the time that others waste.

Those who fail to hear the music, think the dancer is crazy.

One basic truth can be used as a foundation for a mountain of lies.

Everyone should have principles worth dying for.

Learning is boundless

Life is your teacher, therefore you are in a state of constant learning.

Be flexible so, you can change with change.

Be aware of illusions.

You can never invite the wind however, do leave the window open.

Fear takes you out of action however, action takes you out of fear.

He that gives should not remember, he that receives should not forget.

If you are bent on revenge, dig two graves.

Mistakes come from acting too hastily or from acting in fear or doubt.

It is not your action which makes things happen it is your intent.

If you focus on the things you want instead of what you do not want, you will know when it is time to act.

If you cannot commit to anything….you will end up with nothing.

If one believes in himself, he does not try to convince others. If he is content with himself, he does not need others’ approval.

Each man binds himself, the shackles are ignorance, laziness, preoccupation with self and fear.

It is easy to criticize and break down the spirit of others, but to know oneself takes a lifetime.

Knowing is not enough, one must apply. Willingness is not enough, one must take action.

Quite often..obstacles you place in front…are in fact baggage you are dragging behind.

Good days give happiness…bad days give experience..both are crucial to development.

When you value something..you must believe it is important and worthy of honor.

Those who fraternize with the wise….will invariably become wise.

Wisdom and virtue are the two wheels of a bicycle

Self deception is a powerful force…we believe what we want and hide from ourselves what we rather not face….regardless of what the facts are.

One can believe something without prior knowledge therefore, knowing is not the same as believing.

It is always the secure who are most humble.

Rigidity denies one the possibility of opportunities.

If you can't take the heat…stay out of the kitchen!

It is universal tendency to become who we fraternize with.

There is a time for everything…everything happens in it’s time.

A truly motivated person knows no boundaries.

Extend your hand, open your heart….be virtuous my friend.

Rich people think of opportunities…poor people think of obstacles.

If you love to multi-task…stay out of the kitchen!

Be leery of those who purport to have the answers to all your problems.

There is a fine line between reality and illusion.

GRASPING FOR STRAWS

K. Thomas, editor We have a serious problem of continuous increase in gas prices, which is having an inevitable domino effect on the prices of most industrial products and services. Now, the real question is how did we get into this situation, and who is to blame? Would you venture to guess that John McCain recently produced a TV advertisement placing the blame on Barack Obama for the daily rising prices of gas at the pump. We're not sure if he meant just here in the United States of America, or across the globe.

Barack Obama Barack vs McCain
Barack Obama came on the national scene a few years ago. John McCain has been in government for over 30 years serving in the Republican party, having participated in all the senatorial votes, decisions and legislations regarding economic and energy issues of this country over the years. But, forget that! John McCain asserts with his recent TV advertisement that it is Barack Obama who joined the US senate a few year ago who is responsible for the rise in oil prices. Well, What do you think?

Trade Speculators The Real Culprits
In reality, this problem was caused mainly by speculators in the oil business playing future prices based on their confidence in the industry on a daily basis. It is also aggravated by the growing demand for "black gold" across the world, especially in countries like China and India with significantly large and increasing populations.

That's not to say that there isn't enough oil around to take care of the world's current energy needs. Besides, there are still available sites across the globe that have not been explored for their treasures in oil. Oh, by the way...and, there is still Iraq. But that's a story for another time.

Grasping for Straws
McCain and the Bush administration now find themselves grasping for straws in their final bid to win the hearts and minds of the American people as we get closer to the presidential election. But twisting the facts will play well only with those who do not keep in touch with current events. Today, those people are very few and far between. We Americans are much more intelligent and aware than we were 8 years ago.

Let's see how we respond in November '08. The truth will reflect in the voice of the American people.
